Sustainable Produce Urban Delivery announces the appointment of Nancy Morison as Chief Operating Officer

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, September 22, 2015 – Sustainable Produce Urban Delivery Inc. (SPUD) is pleased to announce the appointment of Nancy Morison as Chief Operating Officer. In her role as COO, Morison will be integral in driving the company’s strategy and growth, optimizing operational processes, and helping to define the future shape of the business.
Nancy brings to SPUD a proven ability to build scalable business models. Prior to her recent appointment, Morison was the COO at Coastal Contacts Inc. (ClearlyContacts.ca) where she worked for over twelve years growing the company from a $20M contact lens retailer to a $215M global optical omni-channel retailer.
Known for her informal and genuine leadership style, Morison’s success has been the result of focusing on corporate culture to ensure first, that each employee has the same core values and is working towards the same targets and objectives.

Nancy is a graduate of the University of British Columbia in the field of Human Kinetics with a specialization in leadership and coaching and a finalist in the 2013 YWCA Women of Distinction Awards.
