Glamping Pop-Up Now Open at NRMA Darlington Beach Holiday Resort

  • Written by: Deborah Holland

NRMA Parks and Resorts has pitched stylish bell tents around their Darlington Beach Holiday Resort for holiday makers to enjoy for a limited time.

Tent, poles, stakes? Check. Tarp, sleeping bag, repair kit? Check. Mattress and air pump? Oops. Visitors and locals are invited to forget the long check-list and camp in style this month.

Throughout April, those looking to get closer to nature without the hassle of pitching a tent, can book one of five standalone bell tents erected in the picturesque coastal forest near Arrawarra Beach.

Complete with king or twin beds, outdoor furniture, solar powered lights, cooking utensils and friendly wildlife, glamping is a chance for visitors as well as locals to have a unique experience, without compromising on creature comforts.

Glamping guests have access to all resort amenities and entertainment including a fully licensed restaurant open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

NRMA Darlington Beach Holiday Resort is located on the pristine Arrawarra Beach just north of Coffs Harbour. Spanning over 110 acres of coastal forest as well as a 9-hole golf course, the eco-friendly holiday park is a nature lover's paradise with a variety of accommodation options available including cabins, spa villas, glamping tents and camping sites.

NRMA Parks and Resorts CEO Paul Davies said NRMA's glamping pop-up was a unique experience.

“Our Members and customers tell us they are time poor and often don't have time to pack and set up for a camping trip. Glamping provides a chance to switch off and enjoy the great outdoors without the hassle of finding a camp space or setting up a tent.

“Arrawarra Beach really is the perfect setting for glamping. Waking up to the peaceful sounds of nature, meeting the local wallabies who hop along the garden and falling asleep to the sound of water lapping at the shore is enough to win over the fussiest of travellers.”

Bell tents are available at NRMA Darlington Holiday Resort throughout April.
