How to Prepare for NEET Exam

Some tips to score well in the  NEET examination are:

  • Set a Goal

Firstly It is very important to set a goal, to know what you want because then only you can concentrate and make further plans to achieve that goal. Here, the goal is not only referred to as the clearing entrance test but to set small goals daily. Make a timetable and work accordingly, decide which topic is to be covered today and what to cover in a week. Manage time, students have many things to do like boards exams, school projects, semester exams, coaching classes, etc., so it gets difficult for them to manage everything.

  • Solve Sample Papers

Solving Sample Papers is going to help for NEET preparation. Sample papers give you an idea about the actual exam pattern. To test how much they prepared, which topic they need to revise more, students should solve sample papers. By giving mock tests students also learn to manage time effectively.

  • Practice Past Year papers

There is a very good saying that practice makes a man perfect. The more you practice the better you will become. Practicing Past year papers enhances students' knowledge. By solving the past question papers one gets to know which type of questions are being asked in the NEET exam. Students also get an idea about the important topics to study. Most of the times questions are repeated or some similar questions come in exams. So students should practice the previous year's question papers. After solving the paper one can also check it from the answer key. You can find past year papers online by searching E.g.: NEET Question Paper 2018 with Solutions.

  • Read NCERT

The most preferred book for boards, as well as NEET preparation, is NCERT. It is the best source for basic knowledge. To manage the NEET exam, many questions are based on NCERT. This book provides a better understanding of every concept in easy language. Read and learn every line of this book, diagrams, charts by heart. Mark the important points and practice the diagrams.

  • Make Notes

Make your notes. Write down the important points of the topic you study. Notes are helpful for revision. Students can't read whole chapters again and again so it gets easier if they make notes for important topics. Also, write all the formulas on a separate paper to learn them.
