On December 31st, 2015, MKT BAR is ringing in 2016 with a New Year’s Eve Soul Celebration with the live funky sounds of Jordan "Chili Sauce" Donald saxophonist and vocoder extraordinaire and DJ Tempty.

Jordan "Chili Sauce" Donald has been lighting up the Houston scene with his style of extreme funk. His eclectic approach to funk, jazz, soul, and electronic sounds continually grabs the attention of any listener. Chili Sauce lives up to his name and it's earned him slots supporting some of the greatest in the game with artists such as George Duke, Joe Sample, Delfayo Marsalis, Ledisi, PJ Morton, Kirk Whalum, The O'Jays, Tank, and James Fortune just to name a few.

DJ Tempty is the man. Don't believe us? Catch him live and watch this master of the vintage vinyl world spinning the deepest soul and funkiest funk. New Year's Eve with Tempty at the helm with be nothing short of awesome. Tighten up those dancing shoes and practice your best dance moves. You're gonna need them. Tempty's coming to light up the place.

Complimentary MKT BAR bites will be served throughout the night, and at midnight, guests will enjoy Hill Country Chicken & Waffles and artisan pizza paired with a champagne toast. VIP tables will be available and include champagne bottle service, appetizers and New Year’s Eve party favors, in addition to the chicken & waffles and pizza. Ages 18 and up.

On January 1, 2016, enjoy our New Year’s Day Brunch with half-priced chicken and waffles all day from 10AM-8PM.
