Fremont County, WY - Winter is still in high gear in Wind River Country/Fremont County, as you’ll see from the attached February/March calendar of events flyer. We’ve got plenty of winter action in store for the entire family. Pick your passion from winter activities including snowmobile tours, fat bike and sled dog races, Winter Fair and Wild West Winter Carnival events, tasty chili and soup cook-offs, and more. Print out the attached flyer and stick it on your fridge to make sure you don’t miss a thing.

FEBRUARY

Feb. 1-2 Lander EUKANUBA Stage Stop Dog Race Jan. 29 – Feb. 6th. Lander leg is at Highway 28 Louis Lake Turnout, Hwy. 28.

Monday, Feb. 1: 5pm - 6pm Meet n’ Greet Mushers & Dogs on 2nd & Main St. At 6:30pm viewing of 2015 IPSSSDR film at the Lander Bake Shop, 259 Main St.

Feb. 13 Lander - Lander Art Center’s "Art From the Heart" - an evening of readings, music, video art, chocolate and wine. Artists Stefani Farris, Manuela Aparicio, Darrah Perez, Jim Culver, the Big Wind Singers and others in attendance. Raffle items includes gift certificates for local restaurants, services, outdoor gear, art works by local artists, and the grand prize of a scenic flight. Suggested donation: $10. 6:30pm-9pm. March 4-6 Dubois hosts the 50th Celebration of WY State Snowmobile Assoc. (WSSA) 2016 Fun Days hosted by the Riverton Sno-Goers, Dubois Sno-Katers and Lander Snowdrifters. Friday Night: Welcome Party – Social Hour & cash bar.  Saturday: 3 levels of snowmobiling: Trail Ride at Crooked Creek Guest Ranch, Intermediate/Off Trail, and Extreme Off Trail snowmobiling.
