Wilderness Systems Expands 2016 Pro Staff Team

GREENVILLE, S.C. (April 11, 2016) – Wilderness Systems is proud to announce 20 new kayak anglers will join its deep Pro Staff roster.

The 2016 Pro Staff roster includes more than 65 of North America’s top guides, tournament competitors, writers, photographers and passionate kayak fishing experts. Wilderness Systems utilizes its Pro Staff anglers in the research and development of high quality, performance-driven fishing kayak designs.

“The Pro Staff are authentic and respected ambassadors for Wilderness Systems on regional, national and even global levels. Their dedication and passion to the sport of kayak fishing inspires and challenges fellow anglers and encourages newcomers to pursue this amazing sport,” said Evan Lyendecker, marketing director for Wilderness Systems. “They are an integral part of the brand. They test every boat and accessory extensively and provide invaluable, real-time product feedback.” 

New and returning Pro Staff anglers will compete at nationwide tournaments, including the 2016 Ride the Bull and the 2016 KBF Open Series.

  • Bobby Clark, Troy Meyerhoeffer, Jeff Little and CJ Siebler return as Wilderness Systems’ Pro Staff regional managers
  • Chris LeMessuier and Rob Knoles join Wilderness Systems’ Pro Staff regional management
  • New 2016 Pro Staff members include: Eric Hromada, Sandra Ramsey, Tim Perkins, Bill Perryman, Cameron Simot, Chris St. Pierre, Derek Akin, Eric Briggs, Eugene Mora III, Jay Pershin, Joanne Vaughn, Johnathan Meadows, Kris Cortez, Matt Lopez, Ricky Smith, Shane Coovert, Shane Williams, CJ Espey, Shaun Boggs and Frank Ruczynski
