Actress SIGI GRADWOHL Delivers Comedic Chaos in Disney Channel Series “GIRL MEETS WORLD”

ALL-NEW EPISODE PREMIERES ON JUNE 5, 2015

The follow-up series to "Boy Meets World," Cory and Topanga Matthews (Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel) are now married and their daughter Riley (Rowan Blanchard) faces similar life lessons related to family, friends, and school. In the episode titled “Girl Meets the Tell Tale Tot,” Riley tells a lie so she and Maya (Sabrina Carpenter) can attend a party and must deal with the guilt of sneaking around her parents. Gradwohl joins the episode as ‘Harriet’ showing Riley some wacky sorority fun. 

Gradwohl was excited to learn the Creator and Writers of the show wrote this character with her in mind from the beginning. She was thrilled to put her comedic chops to work on the show, adding, “It felt like one giant family whose Thanksgiving dinner I got to crash for a week.” 

This tiny package of energy and talent is a bicoastal Israeli-Swiss-American triple citizen who has been building a solid reputation in the industry for her work. Gradwohl’s television credits include THE MIDDLE (ABC), JESSIE (Disney) and Chelsea Handler's AFTER LATELY (E!). Her film work includes James Franco's KILLING ANIMALS, film festival favorite CHICKEN SUIT and LITTLE LOOPERS starring Boyd Kestner and Natalie Imbruglia. 

Audiences will also recognize Gradwohl as the co-creator and star of the award-winning online series BAD NANNIES and star of the viral YouTube hit GIRLS ARE ASSHOLES. She has also earned much acclaim for her theater work, including the title role of THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK (twice) and a leading role in ASKANCE, for which she won a Scenie Award in 2012 for ‘Outstanding Understudy in a Drama’. This funny lady is a member of UCB improv and performs weekly at The Improv Space. 

Up next, Gradwohl will team up once again with her BAD NANNIES co-star for the short film SIGNHIL; and she’s also in-development on a series of sketches titled THE DATING CHRONICLES. Fans can also catch Gradwohl as the lead in the film SPARE PARTS, premiering at the Outfest Film Festival this July.
