Board Recognizes Leadership in Commercial Real Estate and Corporate Sustainability

[Los Angeles, CA] Asset Network for Education Worldwide (ANEW) is pleased to announce the appointment of Margaret Di Lorenzo MCR, LEED AP, project manager at CBRE, to its Board of Directors. As a leader of sustainable practices in the commercial real estate field and a valuable advocate of community outreach, DiLorenzo’s appointment to the ANEW board is a natural choice.

“I’m happy to be a part of this unique organization, and I look forward to working closely with Rose, the board members and the ANEW team,” says DiLorenzo.

In their collaborative relationship, ANEW and CBRE enjoy the best of both worlds. CBRE brings commercial real estate clients to ANEW for help in liquidating and stewarding surplus, thus boosting corporate social responsibility, as well as charitable organization clients to which ANEW can match surplus.

“I am proud that ANEW is celebrating 10 years dedicated to the practice of surplus stewardship, a sustainable alternative to common furniture liquidation. The corporate real estate field is responding favorably by embracing our efforts, and it’s evident when leaders like Margaret DiLorenzo further their commitment toward better industry practices by joining our team,” says Anthony Minite, ANEW Board Chairman.

“The impact we make through our work comes from a variety of sources - corporate donors, community recipients, and leaders in commercial real estate. It's a true privilege when a corporate colleague steps forward to help advance our mission, and an honor to have Margaret on the ANEW Board,” says Rose Tourje, founder and president of ANEW.

The current list of ANEW board members is as follows:

Anthony Minite – Chairman of the Board of ANEW – Entrepreneur

Yong M. Wong – ANEW CFO and Board Member – VP & Branch Manager, First Bank

Ron Burkhardt – ANEW Board Member – Managing Director, Newmark Grubb Knight Frank

Rock Macke – ANEW Board Member – Account Director, UST Global – Corporate Occupier Services & Investor Services – Cushman & Wakefield

Margaret DiLorenzo MCR, LEED AP – ANEW Board Member – Project Manager CBRE
