Marvel at the moon and all its mystery – while supporting the Rothko Chapel during its fall fundraiser. The Moonrise Party on the Plaza is slated for 7:30 p.m. until 11:30pm on Saturday, October 24. The Chapel is located at 3900 Yupon St. The cost to attend is $125 per person.

Guests will enjoy live Brazilian music, handcrafted cocktails and gourmet bites. Telescopes will be on site for stargazers, provided by the Houston Astronomical Society.

The Rothko Chapel, founded by Houston philanthropists Dominique and John de Menil, was dedicated in 1971 as a sanctuary. Today it stands as a monument to art, spirituality and human rights.
