Philadelphia Rock Gym Brings Rock Climbing to Wyncote with Fourth Gym

This, the fourth PRG facility, will add a Wyncote location to the great climbing tradition that the Philadelphia Rock Gyms are known for. With top notch facilities, world class route setting, & expert instructors, PRG’s new location in the northern Philadelphia suburbs joins established Oaks, Valley, & East Falls gyms.

Wyncote, PA. – Philadelphia Rock Gym (PRG) will expand their current gym offerings to include a new gym in Wyncote, PA with an anticipated opening in early 2016. Located conveniently in the northern Philadelphia suburbs, the newest Philadelphia Rock Gym will deliver a variety of climbing opportunities for everyone from first-time visitors to longtime climbers. The Wyncote gym is located at 827 Glenside Avenue and boasts more than 10,000 square feet of space. 

Indoor rock climbing is fast becoming a mainstream fitness trend with family friendly options appropriate for individuals from 5 to 95. PRG’s Group events, team building, and birthday parties are a popular alternative to traditional activities. Individual monthly memberships are available at a discount for those that sign up prior to the 2016 opening. Day passes, quick climbs, introductory packages, and group activities are also available. The new facility boasts 10,000 square feet of climbing, offering bouldering (non roped climbing), top rope (40 rope stations), lead climbing, private party facilities, and group teambuilding courses perfect for your next business, school, or sports team event. Amenities include a fitness room and locker rooms. Like all PRG facilities, the Wyncote gym will accommodate climbers of all ages, sizes, and experiences.
