STORM CYCLE DROPS SEVEN INCHES ON ASPEN SNOWMASS

ASPEN SNOWMASS, Colo.—Nov. 5, 2015—A winter storm cycle that swept across the western United States dropped seven inches of new snow on top of Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands and Snowmass as well as four inches on top of Buttermilk. With snowmaking in effect on Aspen Mountain and colder temperatures in the forecast for the end of the week, Aspen Snowmass is in full swing in preparation of the resort’s opening dates. Aspen Mountain and Snowmass are scheduled to open Nov. 26 with Aspen Highlands and Buttermilk slated to open Dec. 12.
