Over the past few years, stand up paddle boarding has become a rapidly growing fitness trend. More recently, we have been noticing an increase in the number of women joining the SUP community. Brands such as Boardworks, Outdoor Research, KEEN, Vapur and Rinse Kit have designed products specifically tailored for women and every aspect of their SUP needs. Please see below for details and let me know if you need any additional information.

Boardworks Muse Inflatable  Designed specifically for women, this board features unique, inspiring graphics and is constructed with new lightweight, ultra stiff 5″ thick drop-stitch material making it easy to carry and transport. At 10’2″ long and 31″ wide, the Muse is a great all-around cruising and fitness board that works great for SUP yoga as well. MSRP: $1,099

Playa Hoody – Offering serious sun protection for the beach, paddling or any situation where blocking the rays is crucial, the women’s Playa Hoody also minds the style side of the equation with attention to fit, super-soft fabric and vibrant color options. The polyester/spandex fabric offers 50 UPF. A close but comfortable fit with flat-seam construction allows for unrestricted movement. MSRP: $75.

KEEN UNEEK - footwear built for adventure. KEEN's UNEEK is made from two cords that move and adapt to the shape of your foot for freedom of movement. The lightweight PU midsole delivers durability and comfort, and the sure-footed rubber outsole keeps its grip--perfect for SUPing. New for Spring '16 is color and a new flat-laced cord! MSRP: $100

Vapur Element – is the most convenient way to stay hydrated on the water. It's flexible (easy-to-pack), 85% lighter than a rigid bottle (easy-to-carry), and folds/rolls when empty (easy-to-store), a lot like the Boardworks Muse Inflatable SUP. The Element comes in a high-capacity 1 liter size, is BPA free, dishwasher safe, and made in the USA. MSRP: $11.99

RinseKit is a perfect way to quickly rinse off sandy feet, salty wetsuits, and dirty gear after a day on the water. RinseKit provides pressurized water on demand- it’s a hose to go! It takes the water pressure from your home spigot, stores it inside and is ready to spray high-pressure water when you need it. MSRP: $90
