More than a century after iconic Australian author May Gibbs began publishing books, her work is still in high demand. Now the May Gibbs Foundation is launching a brand-new store, full of items based on the country’s best-loved children’s stories.

The new store is the next step for the Foundation, with a great range of creative and whimsical products that will delight May Gibbs fans of all ages.

May Gibbs Books

May Gibbs remains a staple of classic Australian children’s literature. The new store offers all her greatest tales in one convenient location, from simple picture books for the littlest learners to comprehensive treasury collections for older readers.

Shoppers can find a wide range of engaging and educational May Gibbs books, all featuring the author’s whimsical illustrations and nature-inspired storytelling.

May Gibbs Clothing

The May Gibbs store offers a wide variety of clothing and attire. The range includes clothes for the cutest little gumnut babies, kids’ clothes, and adult clothing, too. From bibs and rompers to cosy jumpers and leggings, these darling items feature sweet illustrations and popular characters from the May Gibbs collection.

Homewares and Collectibles

The May Gibbs store will provide an extensive homewares range, including nursery décor items, wall art, and kitchen and tableware. This collection includes bold floral pieces and sweet Australian natives, designed to add colour and whimsy to your home.

Toys and Games

To keep the young (and young at heart!) entertained, the range of May Gibbs toys and games is well worth a browse. Made for literature fans of all ages, you’ll find puzzles and painting sets, along with playing cards, sensory balls, and other arts and crafts supplies. If you’re looking for a May Gibbs gift, start here!

Shop for Good

When you purchase a licensed May Gibbs product, a portion of the royalties will be donated to May Gibbs’ chosen charities, Northcott, and the Cerebral Palsy Alliance. You’ll be helping to continue the Foundation’s important work towards inclusion and quality care for disabled people in Australia.
