Getting Ready For Spring

  • Written by: News Company

With spring basically looming just around the corner everyone will be getting their gear ready to spend more time outdoors again. Swimming, camping and enjoying meals without having to be bundled up in plenty of blankets, are only a few things that are so perfect about the warmer months to come. We know it’s still winter but there’s no better time to get ready for when the hotter seasons do roll around. Now is the time to look at things that will only enhance your spring and summer months.

1.    Cleaning your swimming pool

We all do it, during the colder months we kind of forget about cleaning a swimming pool and clean it every once in a while if at all. The best time is to start right now so when the first real warm day does make its appearance, you know your pool is ready. Some people use a hayward chlorinator.

2.    Tend to your garden

If you’ve let things get a little bit overgrown then it is time to get your hands dirty. Or get a professional gardening service to do it for you and have them come once a week from here on out if your fingers aren’t as green as you hoped.

3.    Spring clean

It isn’t called spring cleaning for nothing. Take your home from a side and deep clean everything, your cupboards, beds, and furniture. Take the time to really use some elbow grease. If you do not have the time then hire a cleaning service such as Modern Maids to do it for you. Nothing will beat coming home to a clean house where all you have to do is kick up your feet and get excited about the beautiful weather that’s just around the corner.

4.    Invest in a portable barbecue

If you don’t have a barbecue then it’s time to look into it. Nothing beats a Saturday afternoon spent outside grilling food and enjoying the company of those you love. By investing in a portable barbecue you will be investing time that will be well spent in the warmer months. And because it’s portable you can take it with you on camping trips or to picnic areas where you’re allowed to have a fire. No more waiting around for others to leave so you can barbecue in the local park’s designated barbecues. You can take your time getting there as well, thus avoiding the mad rush to get there first to secure a spot for grilling your food. Some great options are the WEBER® GO-ANYWHERE™, WEBER® JUMBO JOE®, and the WEBER® SMOKEY JOE®. Each one is different and has different things to offer. It all just comes down to personal preference and how you will be using it.

Spring is a time for new beginnings and more sunshine. Nothing beats spending some quality time with family on a warm day while enjoying good food and laughing together.
