American Sentinel University Announces Summer 2015 Dean’s List

– University Recognizes Students for Academic Excellence During 2015 Summer Semester –

AURORA, Colo. – December 31, 2015 – American Sentinel University named 340 undergraduate students to the Dean’s List, which recognizes undergraduate students for academic excellence during the 2015 summer semester.

Eligibility for the Dean’s List is based on the cumulative grade point average for all coursework of 3.9 or higher and a semester grade point average of 3.9 or higher for the period May – August 2015.

“The mission of American Sentinel University is to provide educational opportunities for students that enhance their professional and civic lives through high-quality, high-demand healthcare and technology-focused innovative degree and certificate programs that are current and relevant to advancing their careers,” says Judy Burckhardt, Ph.D., MAEd, MSN, RN, Dean and Professor, Nursing and Healthcare Programs at American Sentinel University.

Currently, American Sentinel graduates work at more than 300 healthcare facilities and organizations throughout the U.S. including Mayo Clinic Hospital, Kaiser Permanente, Geisinger Health System, Maury Regional Medical Center, Spectrum Health, Centura Health and Beaufort Memorial Hospital.

“With 24 percent of the undergraduate class recognized on the Dean’s List, our students are poised to play a key role in advancing the healthcare industry,” says Dr. Burckhardt.
