From the trek to the harvest, SJK’s new Wild-Her hunting pack offers women’s-specific fit with unmatched utility

Boulder, Colo. (March 24, 2016) – SJK (Slumberjack), makers of a wide range of hunting, camping and outdoor gear, is supporting the underserved female hunting market with the release of the women’s-specific Wild-Her pack for fall 2016.

Backed by over 50 years of outdoor gear design, the Wild-Her pack is made to better fit a woman’s body with an angled hip belt for a more comfortable carry; a low profile buckle system for smaller waists; and contoured, auto-canting shoulder straps to better fit a woman’s physique.

“Women were coming to us asking for a better fitting pack, one that could still go the distance,” said SJK Marketing Manager Marily Melis. “With the Wild-Her, we set out to design a pack made from the ground up specifically for women, not just a ‘shrinked and pinked’ men’s pack. The design, fit, and features all address the specific needs of female hunters.”

The Wild-Her offers all the features any hunter would desire when trekking in the High Country, including a versatile weapons carry system for bows or rifles, hydration compatibility, expandable capacity, a harvest carry system, and four compression straps for load stabilization.

“The hunt market tends to be dominated with products made for men. We wanted to help support and encourage female hunters by making a pack of the highest quality specifically for them,” said Melis.

Made with Kryptek’s cutting edge Highlander camo pattern for excellent concealment and a 7001 aluminum stay for load support, the Wild-Her also offers just a hint of feminine styling that will appeal to any female hunter.

The Wild-Her pack weighs just over 3 pounds, has 2000 cubic inches of storage space, and will retail for $159.95 this fall at retailers nationwide.
