Nashville, TN (April 4, 2016) ----- Nashville’s hottest Bohemian inspired children’s store is thrilled to announce the opening of it’s 2nd location-soft launching in April 2016. Rich Hippies has quickly become the go-to shop for moms and kiddos to enjoy an affordable and unique shopping experience, and to celebrate the highly anticipated Germantown location, Rich Hippies is hosting a one-of-a-kind party!  Everyone is welcome May 20th from 6-8pm at the new location - 1204 4th Ave. North, Nashville, TN 32708, and since it’s also National Pizza Party Day—well, you can bet there will be lots of pizza!  Customers can also expect music and fun with Mr. Steve the Music Man, shopping and more treats!

Rich Hippies opened its doors at the original East Nashville location in November 2015, and in less than a year, the demand has allowed for a second location.  It has always been a dream for Rich Hippies owner & founder, Lana Katsaros to create a comfortable place for both moms and kids to have an exciting, non-stressful shopping experience, but she wanted to take it one step further.  “I’m thrilled at the growth we have seen,” says Katsaros, “but I’m just as excited that Rich Hippies is becoming so much more than just a place to shop — it’s a place where moms come to find connection, creativity and resources.”

The new location will still offer the same unique shopping experience, but the size of the new store will also allow for some exciting social events & classes, some of which will include: Mom’s Night Out, DIY Essential Oil Classes, Custom Silhouettes, Nutrition & Cooking Classes for Baby, and many more TBA.  Rich Hippies will also collaborate with some of Nashville’s other shops such as Maternity Pop-Up Shop with Vinny Louise, a Rich Hippies Pop-Up at West Elm in Green Hills, and ‘Toddler Yoga’ classes with Blooma.  (No, Rich Hippies signature baby yoga pants aren’t required for yoga, but highly encouraged for maximum enjoyment!)

Rich Hippies is on the cusp of releasing a new private label collection called ‘Om’ which will feature the latest versions of their signature baby yoga pants, Kantha baby wear, and creatively curated baby meditation mats.  And Katsaros, also the founder of the popular home improvement blog, Making a House a Home (http://makingahouseahome.com),plans to fill the Germantown shop with plenty of exciting options for furnishing your nursery and/or kid friendly home.

As any business owner can relate, location is crucial to business and choosing Germantown for the Rich Hippies expansion was a no-brainer for Katsaros. Nashville is experiencing an undeniable rapid growth, and having shops in two of the most sought after areas of the city is a privilege and dream come true. The new shop will be in the company of establishments such as the Barista Parlor, Wilder, City House Pizza, and less than a mile from the Nashville Farmers Market and Bicentennial Mall, putting them right in the heart of all the action.

The Spring and Summer hours for Rich Hippies in Germantown will be: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 11 a.m. - 6 p.m., (Closed Tuesday) Saturday 11 a.m. - 5 p.m., Sunday 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.  The East Nashville location hours will remain the same, Tuesday - Saturday, 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.
