17-year-old performer set to drop new pop-infused album

Los Angeles, CA - May 2, 2016 -- Victoria, British Columbia native Tristan Thompson gears up for the release of his new album, "Love You Can Believe In." In his sophomore album, the mega-talented 17-year-old co-wrote a majority of the material which includes a variety of hook-laden tracks. "Love You Can Believe In" is set to debut Monday, May 2nd on all major online music retailers.

Released under Toronto-based Chatter Records, the 12-track album features a satisfying assortment of cross-genre songs pulling remnants of rock, electronic and r&b. An impressive display of vocal melodies and ranges, the young musician unveils his genuine talent and passion for making music. "Love You Can Believe In," proves to be a solid musical collection of creativity and craftsmanship.

Influenced by iconic music legends such as Michael Jackson, Prince and Red Hot Chili Peppers, Tristan began performing at a very young age. The single charted #24 on the Mediabase Pop Adult chart and #30 on the BDS Mainstream AC chart in Canada with the music video receiving over 1.6 million views on YouTube. His Holiday single, "O Holy Night," also reached #29 on the BDS Mainstream AC chart in Canada.

A regular performer and talent contest judge at TeenFest events across British Columbia, Tristan Thompson has also appeared on Toronto’s "Breakfast Television" on CityTV as well as Corus Entertainment’s "The Zone" on YTV.
