The Walker School Hosts Atlanta Braves Baseball Camp

When:  June 15 - 19, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Where: 700 Cobb Parkway, Marietta, GA 30062

The Walker School in Marietta is hosting an Atlanta Braves baseball camp this week (June 15 - 19, 2015) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (with extended hours available) open to the entire Cobb/Marietta community.

“We are thrilled to host this camp in conjunction with the Atlanta Braves,” says Jack Hall, Walker’s Head of School.  “At Walker, the vast majority of our students participate in our athletics program -- in fact 80 percent of our recent graduates participated in at least one varsity sport.  Having the Braves at our school is an excellent opportunity for The Walker School to bring the best coaching, skills training and player development not only to students enrolled here, but to the entire Cobb and Marietta communities.”

Atlanta Braves Baseball Camps offer boys and girls ages 5-13 of all abilities the ultimate Major League Experience. Camp curriculum is specific to campers' age and ability and builds character, teamwork and develops leaders at all ages.

  • The camp includes a full Braves uniform including hat, jersey, pants, socks & belt and a field trip to Turner Field on a Major League charter bus, including exclusive tour of the stadium with on-field access (subject to availability based on weather).  
  • Campers get a 45-minute "Meet and Greet" with a current Braves player or Braves alumni, the chance to see the World Series Ring or World Series Trophy Experience
  • An autographed photo of a player on the Braves current roster.
  • The family of each Braves camper will get two complimentary tickets to an Atlanta Braves game during the summer (five different Sunday game options) with the ability to purchase additional tickets at a discount.
