3 Tips to Keep Cool at Glenwood Hot Springs Pool

Glenwood Hot Springs has summer made in the shade! Newly completed pergolas, cabanas and good old fashioned trees help guests beat the summer heat.

  1. Pergolas. The shade structures, located along the terraced deck on the north side of the pool, are designed to allow dappled sunlight to filter through, providing guests a break from the intense Colorado sunshine.
  2. Cabanas. Two cabana tents located near the deep end of the pool provide complete cover and plenty of privacy. Guests can fully relax, even on the busiest summer days. The area around the cabanas is cordoned off for private use. Inside, the cabanas are an oasis from the heat. Each is outfitted with a ceiling fan, comfy furnishings and stocked with a cooler of ice and bottled water. Cabanas are available for full and half-day rental. New this summer: Guests can order food, snacks and beverages to be delivered to their cabana.
  3. Trees. There is something quintessentially summer about relaxing beneath a venerable old tree on a hot day. Planted decades ago, mature trees surround the pool. Guests can claim their favorite spot with towels or complimentary lounge chairs scattered around the pool deck.
Other great ways to keep cool include riding the Avalanche Falls and Shoshone Chute waterslides, eating ice cream cones and shaved ice from the Snack Bar, and of course staying hydrated by drinking plenty of water. To find out more about Glenwood Hot Springs and book lodging accommodations, please visit www.hotspringspool.com.
