New collection by folded paper artist Kyla McCallum launches at Fabriano Boutique

Kyla McCallum’s works are the product of a marriage between paper art, craft and design. ‘The Glen’ is a new series of unique, limited edition folded artworks, handcrafted using fine FABRIANO papers.

There is a resonance between the sculptural folds and facets of the work, with the textures and hues of the landscape of Western Scotland, especially Helensburgh. The blue tones and geometric patterns reference the burns and streams running through the glen.

Kyla’s new collection will be on display and for sale exclusively at the FABRIANO boutique shop in London's Covent Garden from 25th June to 19 July 2015.

A demonstration/preview of Kyla's work will take place on 25th June, 6-8pm.

Kyla McCallum graduated in 2012 with a Master of European Design from the Glasgow School of Art.
