Meet Spa of the Rockies Therapist Andrea W.

As a skin care expert since 1997, Andrea understands that her clients want technical, results-oriented skin care. “It’s my job to help clients get their skin into shape and to help them maintain that health over time,” she said. Andrea’s background includes working closely with physicians in medical spas; she has extensive experience in microdermabrasion, anti-aging treatments, chemical peels, and facials of all varieties including those specialized for men and acne prone individuals.

Her medi-spa experience has taught her that aside from plastic surgery and the use of injectable fillers, the same high quality skin care treatments are available in a day spa setting like the Spa of the Rockies. “People are surprised to learn they can get a really high-end, high-quality treatment with long-term visible results at a resort spa. The advantage of coming to a day spa is that treatments are much more affordable,” she said.

She finds the HydraFacial particularly efficacious for clients. This treatment provides deep cleansing, exfoliation, and gentle vacuum-based extractions using hydradermabrasion, a form of microdermabrasion. The HydraFacial is non-invasive and delivers medical-grade results. Another top performing treatment Andrea highly recommends is the Intraceuticals Advanced Hydration Facial which floods the skin with a customized blend of vitamins, antioxidants and humectants resulting in glowing, nourished skin.

Andrea is a graduate of the University of Colorado with a Bachelor in Fine Arts and received her cosmetology degree from Clover Park Technical College in Lakewood Washington.
