Dubois, WY - One-hundred fifty career artists and art industry professionals will travel from around the country for the 14th Annual Susan Kathleen Black (SKB) Foundation Professional Workshops and Fine Art Show in Dubois, WY, Sept. 13-18, 2015. This week-long prestigious art event includes studio and outdoors workshops, quick draw, auction, and a fine art show. There will be landscape/scenic, floral, western, figurative, still-life, and wildlife art works which the public can bid on at the Headwaters Arts & Conference Center, 20 Stalnaker, Dubois, WY. This years instructors presenting workshops and programs include: Robert Bateman, John A. Ruthven, Mort Solberg, Kristen Olson, Laurin McCracken, Tom Lucas, Stephen Spears, Jeanne Mackenzie,Guy Combes, Christine Knapp,  Lee Cable, Nancy Foureman, Janene Grende, Heiner Hertling, John Hulsey, Wanda Mumm, John Phelps, David Rankin, Ken Shanika, and Connie Spurgeon.

Inside studio classes at the Headwaters Center and plein air outdoor workshops are offered all week. On Thursday, September 17th there will be a special instructor quick draw at 9:30am, and a silent auction is planned of the quick draw and other original artworks, Africa photo safaris, and much more from 5-8pm. All the silent auction items of artwork and other donations by the attending artists and instructors will be available for bid. All auction proceeds from this important cultural event go to benefit the Susan Kathleen Black Foundation’s art education programs.

The Miniature Art show will be on display at the Headwaters Center Sept. 14-18, 2015.  All art works will be available for purchase. The public can cast their vote for the popular People’s Choice award.
