Scenic Cycle Brings Live DJ Spin Classes to Sydney’s CBD

  • Written by: Sophie Hanson

In a Sydney first, local fitness studio Scenic Cycle is putting on a series of spin classes led by a live DJ. The sessions kicked off last week at the CBD studio with classes ongoing until mid-June. The classes will see a live DJ sync the music to the rides in real time!

The Sydney studio is most famous for its unique ’scenic' concept that uses advanced high-definition technology to create the sensation of cycling some of the most beautiful bike tracks in the world all via a stationary bike. You can literally cycle the globe, from the untamed lands along the fierce West Coast of Tasmania, to the snow lined hill climbs through the French Alps and back to the beautiful sunset in the famous streets of San Francisco.

The scenery was filmed first hand by the studios owner who travelled the world over 4 years, using his own filming gear to capture footage of picturesque rides throughout Europe, Asia, and North America, as well as Australia, New Zealand and Samoa.

The live DJ sessions can be booked here. A single ride is $27, or take advantage of the current offer giving new members 2 weeks for free when they sign up for a membership on their first ride.

“I’m so pumped to be able to put on these exclusive live DJ sessions here in Sydney, it’s unique, fun and helps mix up the usual workout. Our Scenic Cycle community are already buzzing about the idea of cycling through places like New York City and Uluru to live beats!” - Tomas Rhodes, General Manager.
