30th ANNIVERSARY SEASON OF MERCEDES-BENZ FASHION WEEK RUSSIA

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia is running March 26 to March 31 in Moscow with Season Fall/Winter 2015-2016. The largest Fashion Week of Eastern Europe traditionally hosted by central venue Manezh will feature designers from Russia, the Ukraine, Belarus, the USA and other countries.

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia will demonstrate fall-winter collections of such headliners of the event as Alena Akhmadullina, VIVA VOX, Tony Ward Couture, Dasha Gauser, Yasya Minochkina, Julia Nikolaeva, Laroom, PIROSMANI BY JENYA MALYGINA, IGOR GULYAEV, MASTERPEACE by Evgenia Linovich, BEssARION, Julia Dalakian, Yez by Yegor Zaitsev, Goga Nikabadze and others. The new season will be traditionally opened by SLAVA ZAITSEV show. Among the participants will be not only top Russian designers but also young talents who are encouraged by Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week: Liza Odinokikh, Saint-Tokyo, Maison SAS, Elena Bryntsalova, Luda Nikishina, outlaw moscow. Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week will also present collections of the emerging designers who however have already proved they are worthy of public and fashion critics' attention. Among them: Yulia Prokhorova Beloe Zoloto, Osome2some, 075 / ohseventyfive, DIMANEU, ZDDZ London, KoJewelry, Bella Potemkina, OFERA by Oksana Fedorova. International guests of the 30th season of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia will be announced later.

The program of the 30th season of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week will include the exposition Close-up: Fashion Week, which will also be demonstrated at Manezh within the IX Moscow International Biennale Fashion and Style in Photography. The exposition will be curated by the director of the Moscow Multimedia Art Museum, Olga Sviblova, and will demonstrate over 100 unique backstage shots from Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia. Moments captured by photo cameras are filled with the atmosphere of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week and carry the audience into the backstage world of the fashion shows. The visual fulfilment of the project was possible thanks to the fashion photographers Adam Katz Sinding (21ème), Craig Arend (ALTAMIRA streetstyle), Diego Zuko (The Outsider) and Maxim Gagarin (MBFW Russia).

All the shows of the Fashion Week will be broadcast live on the official website mercedesbenzfashionweek.ru (see the website for additional information about the previous and upcoming events, guests and designers of the Fashion Week) and on the unique wide screen which will be installed right in the central venue Manezh.

International partner of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia is the world famous photo agency Getty Images that owns one of the largest photo banks and platform image.net.

The title partner of the Fashion Week is Mercedes-Benz. Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia will feature the new Mercedes-AMG GT. This is the second sport car developed entirely in-house by Mercedes-AMG. The new GT combines driving dynamics and first-class racetrack performance with superb everyday practicality, and efficiency that sets new standards in the segment. It has everything you would expect from an authentic Mercedes-AMG sports car – from the characteristic styling, thoroughbred motorsport technology to the optimum weight distribution. Throughout the event guests will be offered comfortable driving services on 20 cars of E- and V-class.
