Verde to support backpack innovator with proactive & integrated public-relations program.

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (April 21, 2016) – Gregory Mountain Products, a longtime global leader in backpacks and adventure travel gear, is partnering with Verde Brand Communications to lead its integrated public-relations efforts in North America.

Verde will support and create proactive communications programs that stem from Gregory’s 40-year leadership in the pack category, and that tie in to its directional brand story lines.

“At its core, Gregory empowers people to live an active, outdoor life. Whether that’s scaling a mountain or biking across town, we design and develop products that get you and your gear wherever you’re going.” said Dawn Sicco, General Manager at Gregory Mountain Products. “We felt Verde was the best partner to get this message out at a time when Gregory is experiencing tremendous growth and expanding our lifestyle bag offerings.”

In the past year, Gregory, which is based in Salt Lake City, has won a Backpacker  Editor’s Choice Gold Award for its redesigned flagship packs, the Baltoro and women’s Deva, and also earned praise for its Everyday Collection, packs and bags designed for the adventure of day-to-day life.

“Whatever kind of adventure you undertake, you need a great pack or bag to get you there. For that reason, there’s not a better symbol of outdoor adventure than a backpack, and Verde is incredibly proud to represent Gregory as a pinnacle brand in the pack, travel and lifestyle communities,” said Kristin Carpenter-Ogden, founder and CEO of Verde. “We had the opportunity to work with Gregory and its team of experts for nearly five years previously, so we know the kind of commitment they put into their products, and we’re excited to have that opportunity again.”
