What To Do In Munich In Autumn

  • Written by NewsServices.com

Bavaria is a kind of country within a country, with its own laws, language, and even taxes. And the capital of this state is Munich. Munich is a classic of Bavaria, a cozy, quiet, noble town. We share our experience with those who will go to Munich and want to have a good time.

How to get there – rent a minibus Munich or a plane?

It’s quite obvious that the earlier you take tickets, the cheaper they will be.

The airport in Munich is large and comfortable. If you want to get to the city center as soon as possible, then use the S-Bahn (StrassenBahn or Skytrain). Both lines lead to the center – both S1 and S8. Marienplatz, the city's central square, is a 30-40-minute drive away. Another option is to use a minibus rental Munich and to get to the city center on your own transport!

Where to live

It all depends on your requests or preferences. In case you rent a minibus Munich, you will not be limited as you will be quite mobile to get to any destination. The choice is wide: from inexpensive hostels to luxury hotels. Here are a couple of recommendations about the choice of housing.

It’s better to choose a location within the Innerraum zone. This will allow you to save a lot on transport, as tickets can only be bought for one zone. And it's much cheaper. In addition, all the main attractions are located within this zone. However, as mentioned above, minibus hire with driver in munich will help you to avoid these difficulties.

How to get around

The transport system of Munich and the surrounding areas are divided into four transport zones – white, green, yellow, and red. The cost of tickets depends on the number of zones that need to be crossed to the destination.

The U-Bahn metro lines (Untergrundbah or simply underground railway) are connected to the city's commuter train network (or the S–Bahn surface metro). There are quite convenient transfer points between them, where it is easy to change direction by following the signs. The most important advice is not to save on tickets. Yes, there are no turnstiles in the Munich metro. But the controllers meet. And losing 60 euros from the budget for paying fees is the last thing. Still, it's better to pay and travel around the city in peace. In addition, it can be quite colorful in the Munich metro, especially on the eve of the Championship.

If you prefer to watch the scenery above ground - coach hire in Munich! This is an option for you!

What to see - bus companies in Munich for help

There are a lot of attractions in the city, both sports and historical. You can use public transport or BCS-BUS as an alternative. Be sure to visit the Olympic Park, which was built for the XX Summer Olympic Games in Munich in 1972. The complex includes a park where the TV tower, Olympic Hill, and Olympic facilities are located. The BMW Museum and BMW Welt (BMW showroom) are within walking distance. The museum is worth visiting only for knowledgeable people. If you're not a fan, chances are you'll be bored there. But the exhibition hall is already more interesting. Firstly, its visit is absolutely free. Secondly, cars can be viewed properly, even sitting in them.

Another great place to walk is the Nymphenburg Castle Park complex. This is the former summer residence of the Wittelsbachs, who ruled Bavaria from the end of the XII century until the end of the First World War. Of course, you will probably find yourself in the very center of Munich more than once – on Marienplatz Square. The list of attractions can be continued – the English Park, the Munich Residence, Neuschwanstein Castle (near the Austrian border), and so on.

I am absolutely sure that everyone will find something interesting for themselves in this city. Be sure, life will always be boiling here no matter where you will find yourself.
